A quick look at the week that was … Donald Trump got a boost from his strong March 22 showing in Arizona and Ted Cruz stayed competitive with a strong showing in Utah. John Kasich continues onward, but increasingly marginalized by Trump and Cruz. It is possible that Paul Ryan, seen as many as the key unity candidate, may overtake Kasich. Either candidate would require a change of rules and second ballot at the convention, and Ryan is untainted by the primary battle (but, also some would consider that an unfair position).

As I noted that week, Bernie Sanders was expected to win a bunch over the next few weeks, and he has! But, Hillary Clinton still has a big delegate lead and New York (probably).
